After beginning college as a double Film and English major pursuing a career in screenwriting, Molly left her former path behind to join a band. Since trading in on-screen narratives for the power of songwriting, she has been praised by music luminary Frank Liddell (Miranda Lambert, Lee Ann Womack, Eli Young Band) as a "young, promising songwriter with a big heart" and has captivated audiences with lyrics that resonate deeply and a voice that bares her soul.
Rooted in her Celtic heritage, Molly has crafted a distinct musical identity by blending the earthy tones of Irish instrumentation with a modern indie folk palette. Her recent project, Tigers In Your Backyard, merges influences from 60s and 70s folk with traditional Irish music, creating what Molly describes as "Celtic Flower-Power."
