Gordon Sterling and The People is a Washington, D.C.-based soul, funk, blues, and jam-rock ensemble led by Jamaican-American singer, songwriter, and guitarist Gordon Sterling. The band blends 1960s and 70s grooves with introspective themes addressing unity, awareness, and the Black experience in America.
